GRACE BLOGIt is a beautiful day when someone shares a positive outlook and glad tidings into a dreary afternoon. Who offers a hand-up when everything seems to be sinking and full of despair. Sharing the vision of hope and faith for yet another day of grace. The gift of a new-beginning through a gentle word which speaks of loving-kindness by the good Samaritan.
And in doing so, a double blessing is given for both the receiver and upon the one who shares "the good news." For this is in keeping with the attributes of God that we, His people, do share by the "fruit of the spirit" in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22,23 ESV). We are asked to believe and as we learn, to take-on the beautiful character of Jesus through our daily walk with Him. And by doing so...
GRACE HELPSIt is the way of the Holy Spirit to help us in our quest to learn and has enlightened my understanding on many subjects. I've also been given a greater appreciation for the apostles and their dedication to ensure that the Christian faith was built upon a sure foundation. Therefore, I'm apprehensive about the many new teachings that are being published and causing division or uncertainty upon God's people today. The nonsense that God didn't predict the tragedy of Adam and Eve's disgrace and then again, that He doesn't know the outcome or certainty of our future. Or again, the false prophets of "soaking prayer" that's nowhere in the Bible and would have us open our minds to the occult. So once again, I am thankful to Jesus, the apostles and early church who faithfully labored together in the Holy Spirit to ensure that the Bible was complete and ready for you and me.
